2024 Southeastern Regional Contest

SER Rules and Guidelines

Registration Information (Entry Deadline, Monday October 21st at 5:00 p.m.)

A few simple details and rules:

Open to eligible 4-H and FFA Youth who are members in good standing of their respective organizations in their home state.

Each State Organizational (4-H or FFA) may enter or deem eligible a maximum of THREE Teams/Organization/State that have earned the right to compete at a regional event via State-level competition.

4-H Contestants may NOT have previously competed at the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest. FFA Contestants may NOT have previously competed at the National FFA Livestock Evaluation CDE. Contestants must be eligible to represent their respective organization in a future National 4-H or FFA Contest.

Contest will consist of 8-10 classes to evaluate; 2-3 sets of questions on classes; 4 sets of oral reasons.

Contestant responses will be marked on a Scantron Form and scored using the Judgingcard System.

Lunch will be provided for contestants on contest day.

Dinner and Awards will be provided at the conclusion of the day (contest attire is acceptable).

Entry fee is $250/Team and includes lunch and dinner for contestants and dinner for coaches.
