November 7 - Skillathon and Quiz Bowl Contest
Location - Simpson Events Center, Monroe, NC
The judging contest will take place on Friday, November 6th. Lunch will be provided and included in your registration fee, and awards will be announced after the completion of the contests. Official class lists will be sent out prior to the contest. This would be a great benchmark and practice event for any NC FFA team looking to fine-tune their skills in preparation for the Regional Qualifiers. For our out-of-state teams, there is also a judging contest on November 7th in Randolph County, NC, hosted by Craven Angus Farms; information for that can be found on the Craven Angus Farm Event Page.
The skillathon and quizbowl contests will take place Saturday, November 7th. After the skillathon contest, registration will be open for the quizbowl contests, and lunch will be provided. Depending on the number of entries, the start time for the awards ceremony may change.
